Wing Mirror

About 6 years back we flew to the US, got us a rental car and went lookin' for somethin'. Found nothin'. Lots and lots of nothin'.

Took me a photo of the sun setting behind us in the mirror. Looked something like this.

Smokin' House

This began life as a door knob, briefly became a penis and ended up a smoking house.

You go figure.

Woke up this mornin'

... and this is what I saw.

Lovely

She ain't really got green hair. That's what you types might call ARtistic licence. Truth is I got my pens misxed up.

Anyways, this here is Tammy, and she's lovely she is.

Back yard

A rare sunny day a few weeks back I grabbed me some pens, sat out back and drew what I saw. It was about then I realised I kinda liked drawing stuff.

This is me some 6 years back, on top of the world.

Sat on a damp bench drawing a rubbish bin in the freezin' cold.

Thought of this when I was still thinking about how to draw a song.

Trapped in a well

This is my first attempt to do anything. My partner told me about this Illustration Friday doohickey. The theme this week was SONG. So I figured since I often hide myself away alot in dark places, and that songs are a good way out of those holes I dig for myself, I'd better draw me a well.

So here it is. Me looking down on me trapped in a well.

I used pencil, then watercolour pencils (smudged with a kitchen towel) then Photoshop to get the griminess I was looking for.
